Pioneer Day Packing

After a fun Stake Pioneer Day breakfast celebration, Sister Cannariato and I started the “big pack.”  The question, of course, will it all fit?

First P-Day

Went fishing with Clay & Rich to Louie Lake, and yes, I wore my missionary tag. Love this beautiful lake and the cutthroats we catch.

Virtual MTC -

We have had a tremendous experience this week with at-home virtual MTC training via Zoom.  Here's a shot of our district.  We have senior couples going to San Diego, Scotland, England, Ghana and us going to Rome.  We have enjoyed getting to know these couples and can't say enough good about our instructor, Brother Blake Martin.

We feel such tremendous growth as we were challenged to focus on becoming better disciples of Christ.  Our resolve to be what the Lord wants us to be has been strengthened.  We have been partakers of the witness of Holy Ghost testifying of the divine mission of Jesus Christ and his role as our Savior and Redeemer.  We have made some wonderful new friends, and we have learned so much about our responsibilities as full-time senior missionaries.  Can't wait to get to Italy and get to work!

July 11, 2021 - Speaking and Being Set Apart

This morning, we had the opportunity to speak at Hickories Ward.  We were so gratified that many friends, neighbors, business associates and family members joined with us.  This service was also broadcast via Zoom.
This afternoon, we were set apart as full-time missionaries by our stake president.  Here is the crew that attended.  We feel so supported as we begin our full time service.

Our kind bishop and his wife, gave us these mission flag pins to share with our family members.  What a thoughtful gift.  All the grandkids wore them to church.  Viva L'Italia!
