Christmas Lights in Bari

December 8 is a holiday in Italy.  Immaculate conception day celebrates the sinless life and immaculate conception of Mary.  This is when many Italians put up their Christmas lights/trees/decorations.  The city is now beautifully decorated and we went out for a look last night.

"Villaggio di Babbo Natale" is Santa's Village.

We're on the backside of a sign that reads "XMAS LOVE"  Even in Italy, some try to cut Christ out of Christmas

We hope that these are the only snowflakes we will see in Bari.

After our stroll, we ate pizza and this poinsettia was on our table at the restaurant.  Italians love to wear clothes with phrases or words in English.  They don't always make sense, but here is an example of a sign done correctly.

Inspired by the beautiful lights throughout the city, we came home a put up some lights in our apartment.  They look great.
