P-day at Barletta and Puglia Village

The coastal town of Barletta is about 40 minutes north of Bari on the Adriatic coast.  We visited a couple of churches, a Swabian castle, and also saw the Barletta Colossus, a bronze statue that has a history shrouded in legend.

About 15 minutes from Barletta is a beautiful lifestyle center, Puglia Village.  This project is anchored by a 12 screen cinema, has a ton of clothing stores and some restaurants and eateries.  Well-maintained and lovely, we enjoyed some shopping and then ate lunch at Old Wild West.
